Steel Blue Torquay Nitrile Outsole/Electrical Hazard Zip sided - 827539

Description: 150mm derby style lace and zip up ankle boot with padded collar and tongue, plus mako toe guard.

Upper Materials: Cowhide water-resistant waxy leather and stitched with nylon thread. Non-Corrosive Lacing.

Toe Cap: 200J Composite.

Lining Materials: This boot is lined with Spacer Mesh ® , which is a soft, non-abrasive, hydrophobic material that wicks perspiration away from the foot, enabling the skin to remain cool and dry.

Full Innersole: A full length footbed that is inserted into the footwear to offer additional support and comfort. This footbed is made from soft polyurethane that will retain its shape and thickness throughout the life of the boot.

Insole: Heavy-duty, flexible anti-bacterial non-woven insole. Midsole: Directly moulded Polyurethane midsole for greater shock absorption.

Outsole: Oil and acid resistant nitrile rubber outsole, which is heat resistant to 300 o C (572 o F).

Trisole ™ Comfort Technology Soling System: The Steel Blue soling system is a patented three density soling system that offers a high level of comfort, shock absorbency and energy return. The system uses PORON ® as energy absorbing pads under the pressure points of the foot to give the wearer superior comfort and offers similar shock absorbency and comfort to sports footwear.

Our non-conductive footwear is designed to reduce the hazards due to accidental contact with live electrical circuits, electrically energized conductors or parts of apparatus up to 600 volts (AC).

These Steel Blue shoes are clearly marked and have a distinct yellow colour plug in the rubber sole. This footwear is not suitable where anti-static properties are needed.

Note: EH Series footwear is intended for use as secondary protective personal equipment. It is to be used in conjunction with primary protective equipment in areas and environments where there is a need to reduce the risk of electric shock due to accidental contact with live electric wires.

EH Series: Electric Shock Resistant: 18000 volts at 60 Hz for 1 minute in dry conditions, leakage current of less than 1 milliamperes. Meets requirements for American Standard ASTM F 2413 - EH. Warning: Electrical shock resistance deteriorates rapidly in a wet environment and with wear.
