Volley
In 1939, a tennis champ named Adrian Quist won the Davis Cup in a pair of borrowed boat shoes. Inspired, Quisty struck another ace by making his own tennis shoes. Featuring a unique herringbone grip on a soft rubber sole, the Volley was born. It wasn’t long until we saw some of the most iconic Australian tennis players take home glory such as Rod Laver, Margaret Court, Evonne Goolagong Cawley and Mark Edmondson.
Since our legendary beginning, Volleys have graced courts, roamed streets, strutted across stages and left footprints in our hearts.
